STATEMENT
My art is inspired by the imperfections that are inherent in all humans, and more specifically, our emotional processes and cycles. I believe that beautiful things need not be “perfect”. In my eyes, real beauty is in fact defined by its imperfections. My experiences have taught me that true love often comes with considerable obstacles, and meaningful successes always require significant effort. The strength of my aesthetic lies in my acceptance and use of the unpredictability, spontaneity and imperfections found in the processes used to create each piece.

Frustration, image repetition, Taoism, temporariness and love (searching for it, having it, and losing it) are constant themes.
